A full-page ad in the Wall Street Journal came out against tokenized equities. Its QR code leads to the official Nasdaq website, where the example tokenized stock is called NMS, paired to Nasdaq only. We read it as Not My Stock.

// THE STORY
Tokenized equities?
Not my stock.
It started with a full-page ad in the Wall Street Journal against tokenized equities, the idea of putting real company shares on a blockchain. At the bottom of the ad sat a QR code.
Scan it and you land on the official Nasdaq website, which shows an example tokenized stock. Its name: NMS, paired to Nasdaq only. As @bwamwifprivacy put it on X: "its called NMS. Not My Stock."
So we made Not My Stock a meme coin, gave it the brightest rainbow logo we could find, and put it on Ethereum, where it's paired to nothing but memes.
To be crystal clear: $NMS is not a stock, not a security and not a tokenized share. It gives you no equity, no dividends and no votes, and it has nothing to do with Nasdaq or the Wall Street Journal. It's just a meme.
